A message from our Rector, Revd. Michael Gallagher

Welcome to our website. Whether you have arrived here by chance as you surf the net, or are here by design because you are a resident of Crewkerne and want to know more about your parish church, or maybe you are from far away and are researching into your past, we hope that you will find something here to interest you.

Our church is one of the most lovely in the south west of England, and rightly deserves its 4 star status in guide-books, and its listing as a grade one historical building. We have tried to give you a taste of what it has to offer now that you have arrived here at our site to make a visit. But although we are proud of our past heritage and are seeking to preserve it, we are also a lively church here and now, and have great plans for the future. We hope that our website will also give you an understanding of today at St Bartholomew's, and what we plan, by God's grace, for tomorrow.

Enjoy your visit and if I can be of any personal assistance to you, I will be glad to hear from you. Be assured that if you ever decide to come to our Church and make an 'actual' rather than a 'virtual' visit, you will receive a warm welcome.
